Noël Coward’s witty and whimsical play of love, death, and what comes after.

Charles Condomine was married to the vivacious Elvira in his youth, but she died tragically young. Seven years later, after a reasonable period of grief, he has remarried and is engrossed in life with the new Mrs. Condomine, Ruth. In the spirit of the new spiritualist craze, Charles and Ruth host a dinner party for friends and invite the medium Madam Arcati to perform a seance. The spirit of Elvira uses this opportunity to return to Charles and her former life, invisible to everyone except her former husband. Charles must now navigate his new role between his living and dead lovers.
